Working as the structural design consultant to the general contractor for this design/build project, The Structures Group, Inc. (TSG) provided the structural engineering design and related construction documents for the approximately 40,000 square foot, two story institutional structure. The senior living facility is constructed primarily of timber framing members and engineered wood products supported on a shallow concrete footing and slab on grade foundation system.

As part of the structural design, TSG also provided construction administration services, including shop drawing review and framing inspections.  As the Structural Engineer of Record, involvement in the construction resulted in timely review of construction changes, reducing both material cost and time of completion.

Warwick Forest is a continuing care retirement community backed by Riverside Health System. The senior living community offers assisted living, memory support, rehabilitation and 24-hour nursing care and amenities that include an indoor saltwater pool, fitness gym, exercise classroom, tavern and bistro, and a theater.
