Brown University Virtual Environment Room

The Structures Group, Inc. (TSG) provided the structural design and development of structural construction drawings for the proposed aluminum frame, acrylic flooring system, and metal grating walkway for the “CAVE” to be constructed within the new virtual environment room proposed for Brown University located within the City of Providence, Rhode Island. TSG also assisted in the coordination of the video, mechanical, and electrical construction documents to meet the requirements for code compliance review and successful construction of this state of the art facility within the confines of an existing academic building. Further, TSG provided construction administration and special inspections during the construction of this intricate structural system.
