The International Building Code (IBC) requires that the owner of a commercial project under construction provide for Special Inspections when constructing a building or making specific alterations or additions to a building. • Provide Special Inspections in a timely and unobtrusive manner.

• Reports within 24 hours of inspection to the Structural Engineer of Record, Building Official, Architect, Contractor, and Owner.
